Pastor Thomas L. Brown was born April 25, 1963 in Columbia, South Carolina. He is the third of five children born to Mr. Tommie E. Brown and Pastor (Emeritus) Janie L. Brown. He was reared in Belton, South Carolina and is a graduate of Belton-Honea Path High School, where he was surrounded by grandparents, uncles, aunts, and many cousins. Pastor Brown received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University.

 

Pastor Brown was introduced to the gospel at an early age and going to church was mandatory in his mother’s household. At an early age Pastor Brown committed his life to God as a young teenager. He has passionately served in many capacities of ministry which include: choir president, praise and worship leader, Sunday school superintendent, teacher, Men’s department leader, financial secretary, Armor bearer, minister’s department leader, Associate Pastor, and Pastor. In 1999, he was licensed as a minister in the Church of God in Christ and was ordained as an Elder in 2002.

 

Pastor Brown is employed by Lockheed Martin on Fort Stewart, Ga. and serves on the Command Maintenance Evaluation Team (COMET) as the Senior Supply Analyst. Pastor Brown retired from the U. S. Army after serving over twenty years in the logistics field.

 

Pastor Brown is married to Co-Pastor Wilma D. Brown, and they share 21 years in this union. They have four children; Takey’ta M. Gore, Thomas II, Precious, and Zephaniah J.L. Brown, and one granddaughter Suriyah Grace Anwar.
