Minister Betty Johnson was born to Willie and Mary Brown on May 5, 1968 in Barnesville, Georgia. She is a 1986 graduate of Lamar County High School.

She enlisted in the U.S Army in March 1988 and served until August 1992. Before leaving the military she met William Johnson, and they were married on February 25, 1992. They have three sons (Mike, Timothy, and Chris) and two daughters (Tiffany and Tiana).

Minister Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She currently works at Amedysis Home Healthcare and Liberty Regional Medical Center.

Minister Johnson accepted the lord in her life at a young age, while attending Mount Sinai CME church, Milner, Georgia under Rev. C Hester. She sang in the church choir and served on the usher board. Minister Johnson has also served as a youth teacher at Word of Life Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Paul E. Terry and at Victory Chapel under the leadership of Chaplain Harris where she then became a youth leader from 2003 to 2007 and youth president from 2008 to 2010.

Minister Johnson accepted her call into ministry and was licensed July 31, 2011 under Pastor Thomas and Wilma Brown of Grace and Mercy Temple.
