Jeremiah 29:10-14

Sin led the people of Judah into captivity for seventy years. Sin is transgression of the law of God (1 John 3:4) and rebellion against God (Deuteronomy 9:7). Oftentimes, like the people of Judah, we bring punishment upon ourselves. The fact that we are reprimanded does not imply that God's expected end for us has changed. It has not. Even when we deviate from the plan, His purpose for us remains in tact. The enemy, however, will attempt to make us feel as if all hope for a future has been lost so that we will continue to resist God's plan.

In our darkest times, we must remember that God loves us and created each of us with a unique plan and purpose. In order for us to know what our custom-made plan is, we must read and apply the Word (the Bible). For believers, the Bible is our blueprint. It is life's manual and was created specifically by God to let us know how we are to operate. If we never read the Bible, then we will never know what God's plan for us is.  Are you in tune with God's plan?
